Reminds me of that recent ordinance in Denver banning all pit bulls. I'm not a dog fan by any means, but I know that it's a big overgeneralization to say that all pit bulls are dangerous. Laws like that completely ignore the real problem of certain irresponsible owners.

personally i feel first time owners should be made to attend basic dog training classes, and be able to sit a theory test to prove they are a responsible dog owner and handler
