So now we have slime ball journalism at its finest. The following is regarding Supreme Court Nominee Judge Roberts adopted children:

TIMES editors were determined to find any possible legal irregularities in the adoptions, insiders claim.

FOXNEWS's Brit Hume reported late last week how the TIMES has been asking lawyers that specialize in adoption cases for advice on how to get into the sealed court records:

"Sources familiar with the matter tell FOXNEWS that at least one lawyer turned the TIMES down flat, saying that any effort to pry into adoption case records, which are always sealed, would" be reprehensible."

So chitlins, since when is bringing a judges children into the nomination process legit? Did Hillary Clinton of a rag NYT's ever consider that maybe the children did not know they were adopted? Did the kindly old editors understand that the Roberts may not have wanted the world at large to know their children were adopted? Doesn't matter, a possible news story has to be followed. I think it is time the NYT hired Jason Blair back for at least Blair delt in the world of make believe and didn't travel down the snail secretion path the Times is now on.

Don't you know those reporters were just trying to save us from the evil republicans?!?
For the love of all that's holy!!! The ends justify the means when you're fighting the evil Texas tag team of Bush and Rove!!!!

Of course once Hillary is president the press will obediently bow and avert their eyes from her nominees...

bah! Bush this, Bush that...BS is what I say...Don't blame Bush for the way he was raised...It's the 'American Way'...look after your own and damn any1 who gets in your way. Quite frankly,it's getting real old too...as humans this far along the evolutionary scale it's shocking to see this kind of behavior is still prevalent in a so-called 'free sociey'. Could it be manipulative propaganda that keeps the little man poor?

I agree with you Wood. That is lower than low. Trash the candidate if you must, but leave family - especially kids - out of it.

Oh man Ded, don't start barking up that tree now. I partly blame will (of the "kill" variation) for finding the tree in the first place, but for God's sake, the last thing we need is to go up it.
