Got my wisdom teeth pulled today.
I love Vicodin. And I must say whatever they gave me to knock me out was the shiz. One minute, I'm chatting with the doc about guitars and music, the next I realize how much I love the planet and the happy spinny walls, and then twenty minutes later I wake up minus four impacted molars.
Congratulations, I guess?
When I had mine out, I didn't even need (so didn't take) my bottle of hydrocodone. And hurray for IV sedation. Once they turn that on, out you go!
Though I pissed my wife off last time I had it because the amnesiatic effect was still on, but I was talking anyway. So I asked her the same question probably 10 times before my brain resumed its normal functions (or lack thereof). Fun stuff, too bad I don't remember any of it.

woke up a few hours later and had apparently had a sexual dream if you know what i mean
not my most glorious moment in time but memorable!

Same here. They hooked me up, and for a few minutes everything seemed normal. The last thing I remember was everything starting to look...strange...then I woke up an hour later in a recliner in the recovery room. I remember staggering groggily out to the car, supported by my mom, but the car ride home is ten minutes I'll never get back. I got an equivalent drug to Vicodin, and even though I only needed a few pills over a few days, I still can't get over how messed up I felt whenever I took one. I was playing through Jak and Daxter at the time, lying on the couch, and I distinctly remember a very odd feeling of lightheadedness and general contentment.Plebeian wrote:When I had mine out, I didn't even need (so didn't take) my bottle of hydrocodone.
