Can I make D3 levels in 3ds max 5 or 6?

For Descent, Descent II and Descent3 level editing and modification assistance.

I see plugins for versions 3 and below, and something on descent3.com for 4, but nothing for 5 or 6.

NO there is not, and Wolf on Air hacked the 3dsmv3 Plugin and made it for version 4 and gave it back to outrage. Maybe you can ask him to do it for version 5 or 6. I just have not seen him attempting to hack the DBB in over a year!
