Second listen: I like it more.
It does homage to Descent, and there's some nice Baker-era Dr. Who flavor mixed in there.

I love it except one part.. The zapping sound that comes in at 2:52 on the track. I would rather have some bass drums at that point. Just my opinion.
But I love it.

First track was edgier and good music to go flying after the bad guys. The second cut was more suspensful and just right for when you are pokinging around looking for something.
Hopefully the gameplay will match the music quality.
