Those same idiots gave us 30 years until we hit global cooling back in the 70's.Teddy wrote:I'd say much less time then most think...
Just taking something like global warming into account, there have been several findings on global warming that have come out just this month that basically say"we is screwed, and there is nothing we can do about it". The scary thing is these reports give us 50-100 years till humanity faces a mass extinction due to all the trapped greenhouse gasses that used to be frozed underground are released into the atmosphere(estimates put it at more than mankind has released in the last 70 years). I personally dont think we have even that long... as a few reports state, most of what we read gives us the most conservitive estimates.... and some reports state that the earth will warm up much faster than prevous thought. Heck, were seeing changes today in animals migratory patterns/habbits that were not supposd to happen for another 25-50 years.
How many years we got left??

I don;t think the world hates the USA. But there is a perception that this is true. The reality is somewhat different: The USA is still the most dynamic country in the world: it's culture, science, politics, and population. So there's a lot of life left in the old dog yet.
The key to survival of any country is its ability to change with the times, and the USA is historically good at this. You might be on the back foot in this regard right now, but have no fear, you'll be back in the swing of things soon.
You'd be most welcome to come to New Zealand. But if gas is $5 a gallon in the USA, then it will be $12 a gallon here in NZ. We'll always have cheap milk, and plenty of cheap meat to go around, but you might be riding your bicycle down to the supermarket to get it.

Jesus said two things about the end:SilverFJ wrote:So how many years till you think that happens?
"Concerning that day and hour no one knows, neither the angels in heaven nor the Son. Only the Father knows."
"Unless thoae days are cut short, no flesh will be saved."
And John heard in a vision an angelic proclamation that delcares "the time has come . . . to bring to ruin those ruining the earth."
Sorry guys, I had to get that out. Just as valid as that 2012 thing, huh?
