Microsoft "briefcase"?

Post by thewolfe »

Microsoft "briefcase"?

Just bought a laptop and would like to "sync" many files/folders w/ my desktop.

I started a "briefcase" on my laptop but it says, "backup everything in case of problems" and is very slow.

Is that just a standard message or is the "briefcase" not very stable?

Anyone use it? Something else more practical? Opinions/comments please.

Got a reply on another forum, Here's my postback.

"Microsoft SyncToy" is sooooo much better than Briefcase. It's easy to setup and I can run it from my Desktop which is a faster computer. Thanks"
