Murrr?
That's right.
Vertigo was close, I guess. It's from a web comic, but nothing to do with space.

An old AP photo from CNN.com of an Iraqi soldier right before "we" [Bush] invaded. Im sure he's history, or currently getting a pilots license in Florida.

I made my avatar from the Pixar award-winning animation "For The Birds". It was made to demonstrate the "feather Plugin" they developed for their render farm.
It took bloody ages to make, and I personalised it so I wouldn't suffer from bandwidth leaches stealing my logo!
It's from a classic scene in the film, and I love the way it looks.

Yeah, that was good.
No points for guessing my av.
And I also noticed that a lot of people don't change their av's very often. Or at all.

Oddly enough, this thread was posted less then a day after I changed my avatar for the first time in about two years I think.

It's still there Palz. However, the DBB does not allow hosted avatars anymore, you have to upload your avatar to the DBB server. (you should have compalained sooner
)

Changing avatars is like changing names to me. Well, perhaps it causes less confusion, but it doesn't have much more point. The only time I'd ever alter it, personally, is if I found a better rendition.
That being said, if you know what Sirius is, my avatar doesn't need any explanation.

More so, as I find that I rely more on what people's av's llok like for checking who's the poster.
Although on the Team17 forums, it's a Mock Avatar Day, so everyone changes their av's to a more insulting av of another forumer. It gets really annoying to tell who's the author of a post.
