Seems the sattelite data is in and Google added red "Katrina" button if you search New Orleans.

Check out the superdome. My goodness...

Yep, I used to search for Warpig's house and it looks like it might have missed the flooding.

Still havent heard from Piggy though...

It looks like that because Katrina ripped pieces of the roof off Roid.
It even opened up a piece of it while refugees were inside. Rain started pooring in.

I think the roof had a layer of white plastic sheeting over it, so where it was pulled away, you're seeing whatever was underneath it. Defender's right about the holes, although I don't think they were large enough to see from this distance.

The roof was covered in a single ply roof (pvc)it is anchored with batton strips on the edges or with a substrate glue. good for usually up to 100 mph.
I was a roofer that specialized in single ply before I retired.
Most big buildings are roofed with this. Its a very durable system that will look the same 15 yrs after its installed. and being white ithas a reflective quality for keeping the roof cooler than either "hot tar"(bitumen) or rubber roofs
