lol. i saw a news broadcast version of this technique on an amature standup comedy tv show as a kid ("hey hey it's saturday" for those watching at home) - was just as hilarious.

That is frikin funnny. My stepdad had band and they played for a deaf crowd. He said they really didn't know what songs they were singin but sang along any way. I guess they enjoyed it.

I guess that shows how popular they were.
