OK, Xciter's post was deleted after that last service down msg.
I tired clicking "yes" to enable siggies in my profile, but I click submit and it reverts back to no.
Edit messages are back!

lol, no. It was 25 (counting the original post).
Is there going to be any attempt to make this look more like the test site (the new graphics Tetrad made, for one)?

You mean the ones that I did. You know, damn near every image used on the template.

If you use the new graphics instead it'll also prevent you/him having to go into the templates and changing the image size.
Unless he changed them from the templates to the new ones. I don't know, he should have them. At worst he can get them off the test site easily enough.

He's got the entire phpBB install that we have on the test site, so he should have everything he needs. I've got everything locally just in-case.

I replaced the old icons with the new ones, removed email icons if you're not logged in, copied some of the old smilies over so they're consistent.

Sorry about the email stuff; I could have disabled it when I converted the user accounts, but I didn't think about it.

I think the link in the upper right hand corner of "View posts since last visit" might be close to what your looking for.
That's what I usually like, anyway. Sometimes I might not be on for over a day, and sometimes I'll be on multiple times. Good to see what new posts there are since I was last around.
(Oh, and it's looking good around here. Good work to all involved on setting up, testing, and switching over.
)

Thx X -- yes, that's close and more usefull too. Now, could someone make it so it displays the topics sorted by forum ? It's a bit cluttered..
Edit: It wasn't clear in my 1st post -- w/ "Great !" I was meaning the new DBB. I was not trying to be sarcastic. So, again -- thx for all the work !

Looking good!
Too bad we changed from our habitual smilies. Also, I absolutely HATE animated smilies.
I'm not sure if this is still enabled, but I don't need to see when a message was last edited. And about the sigs: leave 'em out please
Great job! Nice revamping, after all those years, while still staying faithful to the black-n-blue look.

Tri, I dunno if you've bothered to ever visit the test site, but there is a phpBB mod that will allow individual users to enable avatars and signatures via profiles so if you don't want to see them, you won't. Those that do, can.
