One day, a man came up to a stop sign-which, he ran it. later, a cop pulls him over and tells him that he ran the sign.
Man: i didnt see any cars so i just slowed down then kept on going. i didnt do anything wrong.
Cop: yes you did. ANY time you approach a stop sign you are supposed to stop. may i see your liscense and registration please?
Man: You dont have to stop if there are no cars at the intersection.
Cop: Yes you do. you ran the stop sign, may i see you liscense and registration please?
then the man tries something stupid:
Man: Stop and slow down mean the same thing.
Cop: no they do not. you are still moving if you slow down. you are not moving if you stop- may i see your liscense and registration before i have to use force
Man: They mean the same thing!
Cop: No they do not! dont make me-
Man: PROVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cop: GET OUTTA THE CAR!!!!
The cop starts beating the man with his nightstick
Cop: now, do you want me to stop or slow down?
