Logo Help

Post by Arch »

Hi everyone,

I'm playing around with a content management system called Joomla. Its pretty damn cool. As I set things up I find that I want to change up the logo a bit. Unfortunately I haven't a clue as to how duplicate what is already there. Check out the page here:

http://rit.homeip.net/adam/

I'm looking to the "made your web" graphic. I know its a transparent gif, 250x80 pixels using just 16 colors. Any attempts by me to duplicate it look like crap. I'd appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction.

Thanks,
Arch

Perhaps this will help.

It's the exact same logo just without the transparency.

You're all wise asses. I was able to figure out how to make one that was acceptable using PaintShopPro. It just took a lot of fiddling with the .gif exporter.

Excuse me, Arch? Ungrateful bastard, some of us were actually working on it.

My bad, I missed a smilie in there. I wasn't trying to be rude. I did get the image made, but would most certainly welcome any advice to make it look any better.

Again, I apologize if my reply came across the wrong way.
