Getting back into D3

Getting back into D3
OK, so my new rig will be here soon, and now I need to figure out how to get D3 up and running again.
I have the D3 discs someplace, and hopoefully I still the the Mercs expansion. If I recall correctly Mercs is only 1.3. Where can I find 1.4 these days? How about new multiplayer levels? I'm gonna need to get all this info again, because all my old stuff is long gone now.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Are there still any clans around anymore?

Umm... this is the second person in the last hour with this question... <grin>
READ THE FREAKIN STICKY!
Some people like to use Vortex which is a lot like Gate or GL Max and will login to IRC chat, download missions and launch D3, all in one handy package.

WB Nexus!
Seems were in the same boat!
I too am waiting on the finish of my new machine so I can get back to D3.
Hopefully we'll see easch other in the mines soon!
as far as clans go. Yeah theyre still around.
But alas the D3TL is almost dead.
I do know SQN is planning on drumming up some D3TL action if possible, But scanning the matches forum there is almost depresing.
Anywho, I know the mines are seeing a resurgence of players so open play outta be sweet!
Catch ya later~ -Hat

OK, I need to know right now, will D3 run on Windows XP x64 edition? If not I will need to put in a separate partition for windows 98 Plus on one of my hard drives.
I'll already be using 2 separate OS's for my rig, both Windows XP x64, but one will be about 40GB for Office and other programs like it including internet. The other partition will be for gaming and will be about 200GB or so. I'll keep my other 250GB HD for media, such as music and *ahem* independent films.

Join IRC chat and speak with Psion. I believe he has D3 running on WinXP 64-bit edition on a dual-core platform. I believe there are several drawbacks to running the 64-bit XP, because there are is a lot of hardware/drivers with buggy or nonexistant support for 64-bit WinXP.
That didn't stop Psion, and it may not stop YOU, but it's something to consider.
For the record: Your original post was kind of ignorant, and your last question probably belongs on the tech forum.
