Black and White 2

I just picked up Black and White 2 today, and I gotta say it is a huge improvement over the first game. The first was great in its own right, but this game has new interface that is almost perfect. The new levels of interaction are awesome, and the level of detail is amazing. I can actually watch ants building a hill and then pan out to see the whole island in a single second, without any graphical hiccups.

So far I highly reccomend this game to anyone who likes this type of gameplay.

Anyone else planning on picking this one up?

OMG Yes I've been waiting for this for a week, just found it was coming out. I'm gonna go get it Saturday... SO JUICED! This is going to be the first game I've looked foward to and bought in about 4 years...

My machine only supports one game, one chat program and one (@ a time) browser...oh, and one firewall/anti-virus program. If I try to run anything else it jumps up and pukes it's innards

Post back and let me know if you can actually complete the game.

I tried three times to play through the first black and white (fresh installs each time) but each time the game would start crashing (on the 3rd level I think). If I didn't do a quest how I was supposed to or any number of other things the game would just start crashing. Worst game ever in stability.

Anyway, I did like to play it so let me know if this one has any problems.

I'm to the fourth land, and so far all is stable. I hope you have a stout machine because this is a really pretty game.

Wow I didnt know it came out this week. I didn't finish the first because it got boring fast with the micromanagement and that one level where you dont have your creature. But as long as they fixed all that im going to check it out this weekend hopefully.

hehe, I loved that land. It was also the one that ended up crashing on me. Anyway, you remimber that guy you could pick up and toss around? I would keep tossing him all the way up to the enemy God's temple and then "stick" him in the middle of the altar. He would stay there and I would have power to kill anyone who got near the temple. It was soo fun. The enemy god started acting really weird when he had no villagers left. He would constantly cast spells over my town that did nothing at all.

But I always got stuck at that level because the game would start crashing.

I'm so unbelieveably pissed... my video card doesn't have pixel shader 1.1 so I can't play.

This was the only game I've been excited about in the last 3 years... ★■◆●!
