LOL - no - you have it backwards. What's that silly sound doing in a music video.

Way back in 2000, the guy who made the now famous "Crazy frog" sound overlaid that (overlapped) sound on top of a single image of a Ferrari F1 in a tiny flash movie.

What you're seeing is "new improved" version.

I originally sent it to all my F1 buddies back in 2000.

I think the original title was something like "How to get through the off season".

heh, yeah i remember a flash animation ages ago that had a rice car with that engine sound.
but in that one they didn't cut out the "weeEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" turbo bit.

Like any other job, if Ferrari's engine sound priced itself out of the market (hard to do in F1) then it will be outsourced to India.
