Newegg's asus boards are all amd 64/Sempron. I thought Sempron's were 32bit? Are they the 64bit version of the 32's Duron?

Semprons are single channel AMD64 chips now it seems.

Don't matter, the x86 semprons use the same pin factor as the new ones, and the memory controller is onboard anyways.

AAAH, but wait - there's more!!

Do not buy a Socket 754 Sempron! If you want one, wait a couple of weeks for the socket 939 Semprons. The S754 platform is dead, and S939 motherboards are only fractionally more expensive while providing a much higher performance.

FYI: xBitlabs.com just reviewed the new S939 Sempron.
