I'm putting this here 'cause i'm not going to PM each and every mod, and i don't really know who to take this to. Thinking about it maybe it should go to Xciter, then again maybe it should be up to open discussion.

I'm sick of threads being hijacked by Mobius. His "english" crusade, whilst understandable, is frigging up a hell of a lot of good discussions. I, for one am starting to turn off when ever somone is being admonished yet again for a misplaced apostrophe, only to have a group of angry posters follow up slagging him off....which in turn looses the thread of the...thread.

Agreed Flabby. His only intention when posting those kinds of comments are to draw attention to himself and derail the thread. His post in the cafe (here) was essentially trying to justify his persistant trolling.

He wouldnt be so bad to have around, if only he were made to knock off the damn spelling nazi shtick.

yeah after his dedicated "i'm a spelling nazi" thread, and then when his next thread was spellowned by everyone else he seemed to understand why he was being an ass.

Personally I think Mobi charm has grown on just about everyone here over the years. That might explain why we put up with him for all this time. Still most of his crap is uncalled for.

I have PM'd Mobius in an effort to resolve this issue.

I know we never hired a spell checker and I don't think it's anyone's job to do so.
