Getting rid of new wireless network notification

Post by Top Wop »

I need to know how to turn off the notification that a new wireless network has been detected. As im driving its useful if im in the city but eventually it gets annoying. Mind you this is NOT the ballon pop-up and in connection properties the two un-checkmarked boxes for notification when connected or bad connection does not help as again, thats for the ballon and not the real pop up. Search on Google turns up nothing. Thanks.

Kill the Wireless Zero Config service.

Start -> Run type in "services.msc". Scroll down until you see it, right-click and hit properties. Set it to "Never" and click OK. You're done.
