Maybe there is hope for the UN

Seems the UN security council unanimously passed a resolution sanctioning Syria for the asassinations in Lebanon. So now what remains to be seen is what punishment is meted out to Assad and his buddies. Wonder if the Syrians will keep sending jihadist across their borderinto Iraq.

Pssh - f*ck Syria. We shoulda gone after them instead of Iraq in the first place.

This coming from a very biased person with Lebanese heritage. :P

Too bad the UN (Kofi) deleted the names of specific parties involved (but left "track changes" enabled in the Word document! Brilliant!) They should have called them out by name.

But then, the UN has also been issuing statements against Iran for years, and we all know how much that's worth.

Talk is cheap, action isn't, lets see if it actually gets implimented and anything comes from it before we start having hope.
