Just thought I'd mention it again; what a well made, balanced awesome dogfighting level that map is ! We must play it more !

A few nights back a game of SLW was up and when I got in Behemoth, Iten, Yikes and Will Kill were in there.

I was getting whooped in my pyro, and it rekindled my Tanknophobia since Behemoth kept running me over, and over... None of my 'boating' habits would save me. It was either run as fast as my Pyro could AB-pulse, or stay and fight. Peed my pyro-diapers many times !

I had so many 'falling out of my chair' moments of dogfighting adrenalianted fun it was like I had rediscovered how psychologically potent Descent 3 multiplayer is ! Everyone needs time in SLW !

From that match I still have a sore index finger from pressing the AB key on my Joystick so much ! I still feel it when playing guitar or opening a door .. !

So watch for SLW ! Meet me there !

SLW was one of the original D3 user made levels and it's still one of the best made.

Skin Like Winter, also an instrumental song by Frank Zappa, is an archetypal D3 level !

And so there would be good reason to try Hoard and CTF versions of this awesome map...!?? Server Op's can you feed us some of those, please ..!

SLW is great for forcing you to use whatever weapons you have. missle boaters stay away or learn how to dogfight
