I'm wanting to achieve an effect with text in Adobe PS. I want to recreate the drop away shadowing that is in the D3 logo.
If ya know how to do this in PHP, go ahead and direct, I'll figure it out.

I doid it in Corel Draw by creating an exact copy of the text and placing it behind, converting it to 20% shade of it's original colour then applying a gaussian blur to it.

well it kinda works. I have another problem. making block letters.
It seesm that you need Adobe Illustrator.

Illustrator is a Vector based program like Corel Draw.
Much eaier to use IMHO.
