does the code feature have to be double or triplespaced or whatever it is?

It's a bug with the way phpbb does things with a combination of putting a hard <br/> after every line and putting it in a <pre/>. There's no way to change that with just the template.

Thia issue is corrected in the test board I have setup.

But if noone wants to make the move then it's really a moot point
