descentbb.net now takes you to a portal page instead of the old index page with an old dbb banner and a link to the dbb.

I have to recode the portal to display the images you mentioned, like ferno said I am working on it.

I am also taking input on the layout of the portal page, I have already implemented several suggestions offered.

check your internet security settings. Soem disallow animated gifs.

Within a day of the move I added a phpbb script, which can read any dbb information contained in the database and display it on any page within the DBB domain.

So the exapmle template which I started with didn't have the images that you notice as missing, I beleive I can edited the template to include those images, the actual DBB hasn't been modified in any shape or fashion.

There are a few other options that I may yet play with on the "portal page".

You need to get the hardcoded URL out of the portal a bit, make it so it is on the same domain as the DBB. Running on two different domains will cause browser cookie chaos.

The one that makes the portal always load at http://panda.ultrawhb.com/~descent/phpbb/portal.php
and clicking on any forum (such as the PTMC cafe) leads to this URL: http://panda.ultrawhb.com/~descent/phpb ... m.php?f=20 instead of the proper URL phpbb/viewforum.php?f=20
