I added a MOD tonight that will allow you to upload images to postimage.org.
Ther eis a 2 meg limit, it will automatically create a thumbnail and add the link to your post.
The thumbnail is linked to the full size image. See my test of the MOD here.

The link above should look something like this ...

I did notice that, but I'll stick to my own web space for now, this server doesn't look like it needs any extra work.

That's always prefered but I know many users either don't have a website or maybe the means to post a picture

Thank you KB! Something many hostless posters have been clamoring for.

I aim to please, I fall short most of the time but my desire is an honest one.

I think, given Couver's post, we need [sarcasm] tags.

I have a 145x200 avatar in another forum, it's nice in a quiet forum but not on the DBB, even sigs are disabled here, much as I hate 64x64 I think we should stick with it.

what we don't need is giant avatars and banner signatures!!!
i used to be guilty of this. my own animated avatar is a bit distracting, but i really don't want to have to turn off images just to browse this forum...

I see no problem with avatars as large as 100x100, since the current layout easily allows for it (fits upto 120 pixels before breaking format). Even with the current filesize limit (which is a tad bit much IMO. People need to learn how to compress images better.) it easily allows for it. As for sigs, bring them back. If you don't want to see them, just go into your profile (once KB gets things set up) and turn them off.

i've always thought that signatures were a text line at the bottom of the post. not an image.

some forums allow images in sigs, so in those forums ppl often JUST use an image as their sig although they can use text as well.

if i watch that "lunix" avatar too long, i start to get ill!
very good job fyrephlie! it takes a bit to make me queasy. there's just enough detail in that thing to do it for me. (love those flying eyeballs) yyeecchh! (i have experienced that sort of rage. not just over lunix either.)
