Anyone else played this yet? The game is awesome, the graphics are superb. The only problem is the difficulty. Somebody really felt masochistic when they set this game up. I haven't played a game this hard pretty much ever. It's almost bad joke hard, and I haven't even tried the hard setting; there is no easy setting. There should have at least been a training mode to help you learn how to play better.

The game is fun though, if you can learn how to play it. It's just a shame it's so damn hard, that part of it will scare a lot of gamers off.

I remember a Ninja Gaiden for Nintendo. One of the best Nintendo games ever, but yeah, it got damn hard in some places. This is for the pc, I assume?

I know this thread is about 3 weeks old, but I was going to start one anyway.

Got this a couple weeks ago and have been addicted. It is insanely hard and that's on normal difficulty, but after you get used to the controls and how to block and counter its not that bad...until you try hard/VERY hard difficulty. I finally beat it yesterday and now I'm on my 2nd time through. I'm trying to get 50 Scarabs to unlock the original Ninja Gaiden games...but I can't remember which scarabs I missed the first time through and I've got 48/50 scarabs arghhhh

anyway anyone else play this? If not and you have an Xbox and you like these kinda games, its really frickin cool. Kinda reminds me of the N64 Zelda games mixed with Prince of Persia and that Ninja Gaiden look and feel to make it all warm and mmmm good.

Wow, I used to love the original Nintendo version. Too bad I don't have XBoX, or I'd play it.

Yeh, sounds cool. Is it "well developed" hard or just plain annoying?

I don't have an Xbox so I guess I'm missing out. I got PS2 and GCN. (and many many more)

I only have a GCN and in no mood to buy an XBox. However, the title does intrique me. But I probably won't ever get to play it unless they make a PC version.
