1st payment complete...

I have processed the first payment to Richard Cranium for a co-located Semi-dedicated account.

This was setup as a recuring monthly payment to be drawn from the DescentBB paypal account.

I will attempt to get the site transfered and working between Christmas and New Year.

BUT this move is guarenteed to be more difficult than the last since we are moving a mysql database ro a mssql datbase.

Maybe the move should be done after New Year that way we are assured a DBB over the Holidays.

Thoughts?

after the new year sounds a little better to me

i need my dbb over the holiday season.

any estimates on how long it might take? (i am guessing 1-4 days?)

Remember the bigest deal is the DNS change.

But RC does have a generic phpbb 2.18 running as test setup, I could install the users easily. and sthen it could be a temporay DBB IF and I mean if it's going to take more than a day.

Just a thought ....

Not if you set your TTLs to 5 mins... a week ahead and back to normal after the move.

Course, who honors TTLs nowadays?

The server hardware will be moved on Tuesday to the co-location facility.

I've tested the server and its working very well.
