I believe that the DLE-XP and DLE-XP Projects deserve thier own forums and am in the process of moving threads!

Hopefully it will make it easier for us old skoolers to carry on conversations.

I think it important to leave sticky threads in this forum that returning Old Skooler's can see concerning this developement efforts. SO they can get the latest and greatest.

Look's like the Level Editing threads should really be moved to the Descent Developement Thread.

Level Announcemetns really belong in Zappafan's forum.

IMHO, this forums really should be for us old skool'rs for discussion.

Thoughts .., Come on Old Skool'rs do you agree?

The only discussions keeping this part of the DBB very active are the DLE-XP and D2XW32 threads. Although there are plenty of DBBers on this board who have been around since the D1 days, there are only a handful of people who were veteran D1/D2ers on Kali and/or during the mid-late 90s.

It probably wouldn't be such a bad idea to make a new section for DLE-XP and D2W32 oriented topics. It just makes me wonder how truely active old skool would be after the fact.

Just my opinion.

yeah, I miss talking about those awesome coop missions fellow Descenters and I would play in. One time we played through levels 1-24 in one sitting straight on Hotshot. That was fun. Waste of a day though, but still fun.

You have a point Tyranny - strip out all the level threads along with DLE-XP/D2X-XL stuff and you're pretty much left with the Revival (which happens every few months) and the occasional thread like \"how long has everyone been playing\".

This forum would be so dead it would barely be worth having.
