Wildcards Branch Out

The Wildcards are now branching out. This means that Descent will not be the only game that we play. Battlefield 1942 is now a branch for WC. Those of you wishing to play this game in a friendly environment, with no hacks or cheats are welcome to check us out. www.wildcards.org
You can PM me through the forums with any questions. Those of you that know the Wildcards know how we play. With Bf1942, this will remain constant.

The news of disbanded was false and posted without the proper authority. Even though I was the one that posted its' demise. It was the news I was given.
We are exploring other games as a way to stir up new interest. BF1942 just happened to be one that several Wildcards were playing so it made sense to give it a go.

however...get ready to change games because bf vietnam comes out in 5 days

and it will own all games..

those of you that think halo is "with the times".........are mistaken..

halo is clunky at best and the hover ship is the warthog with no visible wheels...so stfu.

Dude i played halo the other day and i was able to get in this hover ship thing...it looks like a pod racer...

after driving it for a while i realize it has the same physics as the warthog...its like the warthog with hover textures on it...like the only thing missing was the wheels..it was ghey..

besides...dont make me talk about BF Vietnam again.
5 days left !...get yer notromos ready! windex your monitors! BATTLEFIELD VIETNAM!....

sure that war was too recent to be simulating but so what! Ill be gunning down charlie in 5 days !!! woohoo!

ive got good news and bad news for you bro.

the bad news:
the mods that are made for bf1942 are free because they arent made by EA Games.

bf vietnam is a new game by EA....so aside from getting you nostromos ready also please also have your 50 bucks ready

the good news:
bf vietnam is a new game by ea.
it runs on a brand new engine.
helicopter has a 10 minute learning curve.
you get to rock the f-14 phantom jet and drop napalm.
you can pick up tanks with helicopters and transport them.
you can fire while seated in a jeep.
the game allows you to play music (of the era, and it lets you turn the station) while in a vehicle. That music has a dopler effect...if you hear ride of the valkerie from far away and it sound like its getting closer..chances are im about to gun you down. when i fly over your head the music gets louder. as i leave it fades (cmon how sweet is that)

you get to customize your player, looks etc.

and of course....you get to kill charlie and stick the ace of spades in his mouth. (as offensive and incorrect as that is)

there is nothing in halo that has the physics of the warthog that hovers. was it a purple 1 man vehicle? if you think it handles anything like a warthog you were smokin somethin good when you played the other night...

If you pre-order bf vietnam you get the 60's music cd for free which is cool...you could roll around in your car like you do in game.

But the "PRE" order ships the same day the game hits the stores.

So if you pre-order you will get the game 2 or 3 days after its on the store shelves....just a heads up

i'll bet you 20 bucks there isnt a hover ship in halo with the same, or even similar physics as the warthog.
