This thing was about to get the ol' DoG, but I spotted him and a battle ensued. Needless to say the broom whipped it's azz.

from the fuzzy image, I'm guessing wolf spider. They are harmless and eat the bugs that you really don't want around. My 6 year old and I caught one that was about as big as the palm of my hand, say close to 3 inches from leg tip to leg tip? We kept her in his spider globe for a few hours, but she wouldn't eat, so we let her go.

I LIKE spiders, just so long as they don't TOUCH me, then I freak. :)

Sorry about the fuzzy image, and yes it was a wolf spider. I DID NOT kill it I merely swept it outside.
