I dunno kurupt... you got a history, but there were plenty of other people - frighteningly often from the IDL - who were pretty bad as well.

Unless I missed him in the list, I'd have to say MehYam should be added in there.
I think LAN play is more subjective for determining the 'best', especially since this avoids popularity and reputations and gets down to raw skill and ability to handle pressure.
