Room Within Room

Have a level with completed room. Would like to add energy center (room within room). Getting a little confused. If the completed room is not an energy center. How can I place a new room (I know how to physically make the room) and give it the energy property whereas only the placed room is the energy center and not the room that it is placed in?

Kinda' with schplurg on this one. I never knew what was so difficult about having rooms-within-rooms, although quite a few people are stumped by it. Just wait 'til you get to exterior rooms and cinematics. Yay!

Yea, I've read all of Schplurgs' stuff and learned alot from them. Read this one some time ago and still don't get it. If I have a completed room, how do I make a new one and insert it into the existing room?

make a box the outside shape of the room you want to put in, build the room you want to add seperatly, and place the room on the inside of that box. If you have AIM feel free to talk to me if you don't understand something.
