Which are good?
Belkin, DLink etc?
I need to buy one and I'd like to know which are less prone to troubles.

I currently have a belkin 4 port KVM switch that I'm very happy with. Make sure you get decent monitor cables to go with it. DO NOT get those thin, cheap $5 VGA extension cables, otherwise you wont be able to do much in high res cause of signal degradation. If you get a belkin switch, you might wanna get the belkin cables that they offer too.

Be wary, last time I was looking at KVM switches many of them didn't support the additional buttons on many keyboards or mice with a bunch of buttons. Also, some only support up to a certain resolution. This many no longer be true, but it was last time I looked at them.
Make sure you read specs carefully.
