Hey! Can u add options wallpapers for D2X-XL menu?

D2X-XL's menu background is look ok, but I really like wallpapers by Aus-RED-5, so I want put Aus-RED-5's cool wallpapers on D2X-XL's menu background.

What kind of options? Like what?
You can add any wallpaper you like. Just rename it to menubg.tga and place it into your Descent2 folder. Thats it.

RED,

menubg.tga is the default name, but you can specify a menu bg filename in d2x.ini, together with some more nifty options, like alpha, brightness, and grayscale.

So you can tune the background image appearance to optimum menu visuals.

Yeah I seen that. I was just giving him a simple answer.

I also wanted to know what his ideas might be? Could be far different from what you or I might be thinking!

I rename it \"menubg.tga\" in D2X-XL or D2X.ini file then not work...

Make sure the following is in the d2x.ini file.
-altbg_name menubg.tga

Now make sure the menubg.tga file is in the Descent2 folder.
It should work. Mine does.

Oh! \"tag\" for Targe with Microsoft Photodraw 2000! It work! But it is flip down, so I flip it down. Now it is very beautiful!
