Descent3 single player - Iceworld

Having problems finding the switch in main room. Also, in the lava room, shooting missils down the blue room and hitting doorway. Hit the door several times, but no reaction. Any suggestions

I don't know what level corresponds with Iceworld. This mission was obtained from planet descent, under single player missions, which planetdescent.com has quite a few single player missions.
