Ya know, I'm not suprised by this article. this is something i saw coming down the pipe a while ago. the collusion between military with industry, and military with domestic issues.
The first one that I was aware of was when that raid happened at a rave outside of Salt Lake City, Utah.
First thing I said to myself was when I saw the video was, 'those swat team members are carrying assault rifles!'. and that's when i knew something was very wrong.
This was a rave, where a bunch of teenagers go. none of them were armed. they had security officers there. all proceedures were followed.
But they went in like it was a bank robbery or some other major emergencey.

This guy must live in Nebraska or something. Things here in Oregon continue to escalate. A swat team is needed several times a year for hostage taking; although most of the time, they are \"talked down\" or they shoot themselves.. Then there are the Meth labs in the part of the country. they are keeping psuedophed in locked cabnets here now, it's that bad.The proliferation of SWAT teams is particularly worrisome because such units are rarely needed. SWAT teams are created to deal with emergency situations that are beyond the capacity of the ordinary street cop.
