The war on drugs takes a turn for the worse..

Post by Fusion pimp »

It seems that 5 southern police officers decide they're going to beat Eugene in order to get him to sign a search warrant thinking nobody will be the wiser. They testified that their intentions were to make up an ellaborate story of resisting arrest in order to cover any physical damage to Eugene. What they didn't know is that Eugene's wife planted a tape recorder before being told to leave her own house by the said officers.

Initially they stuck to the story and the community passed it off as another bad guy claiming police brutality.. That is, until the tape surfaced.

The tape is long, but well worth listening to.

Props to Eugene. That's the price of freedom. I only hope that if I'm in a similar jam that I can perform with the same conviction.

I don't have any props for Eugene he sounds like a total drugged out loser whining to the cop that he tried to get in touch with him so he could rat out his fellow druggie losers to keep himself out of jail. He's no good for anyone.
Minor props to his wife for taping the event although my gut tells me she sucks for keeping a child in that environment and that she's every bit as much a drugged out loser as her husband. I wonder if she's had the same foresight to protect her child the way she was looking out for Eugene...

But really they are nothing compared to those cops! Each one of those vigilante animals needs to be locked up for life. I'm serious. A mandatory life sentence is just about right for a cop that would kidnap and torture a suspect...even if he is a scumbag like Eugene. I guess we now know what the gestapo would sound like if they were from Tennessee :(

Also, they are pretty damn weak for being evil torturous vigilantes. At one point after Eugene whined about needing to talk to one of them and stalled for a ciggarette for the fourth or fifth time and the tough guys were still saying \"This is your last chance, now sign the paper Eugene\"...
I was shouting at the monitor 'Just kick his ass and get on with it you wimp!\" lol

vice cops are the bottom-feeders of the police world. the entire war on drugs stinks of a racket in the first place. it's nothing but a cut of the action. seize your car because you get caught buying a single joint? who is the real criminal there?

For the record, I wasn't suggesting Eugene was innocent.I am also not suggesting Eugene is guilty.
Innocent or guilty, the man deserves due process whether he's a scumbag or not.
What I find interesting about the whole thing is that the cops said they \"knew\" he had drugs. If they knew, the search warrant wouldn't have required his signature. They can simply get a warrant(even a no knock) from the judge based on the evidence.
They might have been right saying he had drugs, but they obviously didn't have any solid evidence.

Assuming Eugene did have drugs- I think the cops are bigger scumbags than Eugene. I still give the guy props for refusing to be coerced.
