Descent Freespace?? Still being played?

Years ago when I dropped off playing Descent 2 upgraded version the next thing out was Freespace. I have a copy but never ran it.

Is it being discussed and played? I don't see it mentioned.

Not much around here. A lot of people have it; some probably also play it, but I haven't really seen much talk. Except the occasional stuff about the FS2 open source project.

I went through it 3 times on different difficulty levels. Also created half a mission never finished, & still got it installed 1 & 2. Havn't played it in a while.

Yeah, I also have both installed in Windows and FS2 installed in Linux but I have never completed any of them

The story as far as I have gone has been great though.

There's a great babylon 5 mod for FS2. It's a total conversion though. Very large.
