Considering I don't think I answered Christian, I am shocked by the #2 being christianity. I do identify with many of the general concepts found in eastern religion so Taoism, Mahayana Buddhism, Theravada and Hinduism make sense.

You are a christian if you believe in all the Jesus Christ died to save us stuff. He is our savior, bla bla bla. Mormons believe that, they are christians. And I am pretty sure Quakers do as well. But I could be wrong.

Muslims are not Christians because they do not believe Christ was the son of God nor that he is our savior. They do believe he was a prophet though.

The controversy over whether Mormans and JW's should be called Christians centers on whether the definition of Christian involves believing that Christ was devine.

The Muslims DO believe in Christ, but the believe he was only a prophet.
The JW's believe that Christ was sent by God, but was NOT God.
The Mormon's believe that Christ was God, but in the same sense that we ALL are meant to become Gods. They believe that \"God\" was once mortal, and we all have the potential to become gods. (correct me if I'm wrong here Xaminder, My Mormon theology is VERY scanty)

Seems like a lot of people are getting Unitarian Universalism. I wonder why?

Ok, religious joke time. Since my Unitarian Universalist friend thought this was hilarious, it should be ok.

What do you get when you cross a Unitarian Universalist with a Jehova's Witness?

Believing that Christ was divine is true when viewing "Christianity" from a modern perpective. That is a JW belief. Maybe we should start a new thread if we want to discuss this stuff and leave this one for the results of the test. And I don't base it on the bible alone, I base it on both the Bible and the Book of Mormon.

Do you refer to charismatic christians? If so, you are dead wrong. "Charismatic" means that we believe that the baptism in the spirit is a distinct and separate act from the conversion and baptism in the water, and that we accept the existance of the gifts of grace of good ("Charisma" = gift of grace), consisting of speaking in new (prayer) languages inspired by the Holy Ghost, gifts of healing, gifts of prophecy, etc, and strive to receive and practise them. That's the only difference.

Xamindar, I couldn't care less about your opinions about being a Christian.

But we can have fruitless discussion #108239482342348203987234 about what makes you a Christian, why you should be one, why you should go to church, why UU is not the answer, but yet another excuse to avoid the confrontation with the one and only true living God, etc. etc.

Pointless, if you ask me.
