FF-Pro Hatswitch repair

Ive been using the zip tie technique for about 3 years now, is this still considered the best, or is there another longer lasting method?

im sure grendal would know lol

FF Pro or FF 2 ? Zip tie should do fine, I used to use a 3/4\" lock washer :)

Hm, no. Probably wrong term -- spring washer maybe ? Lemme look..

Edit: It's a spring ring. Guess any thin walled ring w/ a 3/4\" inner diameter would do :P
