FrontPage 2003
I just purchased FrontPage and can't get my \"Index\" file to open when I start the program.
I want \"Folders\" on the left and then have my \"Index\" page open.
I click on \"View\" and then \"Page\" and it's the way I want it but when I close and re-open Frontpage it reverts back to a \"Website\" tab with all my folders showing.
Front Page 2003
That's the way FrontPage works by default. I don't have it installed at the moment (and I'm kind of hesitant to do so) but from my use of 2K3 in the computer labs around campus I seem to remember an option that you can turn on to skip the website view.
Just a note: prior to FP2K3 (or maybe FP2000) the editor and web manager were separate applications. FrontPage isn't used for serious web design except for when used in conjunction with other Office programs, i.e. for intranets, so they merged the two applications. I know for a fact there's a way to mimic the old behavior, so don't despair if it's not in the options dialog after all.
