Very interesting. Even though it doesn't pertain to me directly, I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing were to come into Canada, particularily as the midset of a great deal of our population (not including yours truly) has a statist mindset.
Also, we do have an income tax law up here, it was instated near the end of WWI to help pay the cost, which wasn't covered by war bonds, postage stamps, and the like. Unfortunately it continues to this day (along with a dozen other taxes that take off almost, if not over, half of one's income).

Yeah, I watched that one on the front page.
I don't see how abolishing the U.S.'s income tax can begin to be a sensible position, unless you're going to just replace it with a different tax? I mean, we do have interest on our national debt to pay off, plus other jewels like the war in Iraq.
By the way, I went ahead and watched the other trailer. Did anyone recognize a clip in that trailer from a supposed police brutality video that was posted here on the DBB a while ago? It was the one that occurred in Florida against the African American woman who wouldn't leave her car. Anyways, the search function is FUBAR, but I recall the DBB consensus vastly approving it as appropriate police action under the circumstances. Now it's being used to insinuate that America is a fascist state.
Also, I think that the famous corallary to Godwin's Law can be unarguably applied here.

Well, that is a minor detail that I assume Fusion pimp failed to notice, but I don't see how it invalidates the whole argument.Jeff250 wrote:By the way, I went ahead and watched the other trailer. Jeff, May I suggest that you look up the thread I started titled-\"The real reason for national debt\" and buzz through it. It will explain how doing away with the Fed Res will do away with debt, at that point there would be no reason for an income tax. I won't get into the legality of an income tax. I will say this about income tax- The only reason I pay it is because the cost of fighting it would be 10 fold what the original tax would cost me in the first place.I don't see how abolishing the U.S.'s income tax can begin to be a sensible position, unless you're going to just replace it with a different tax? As for the for the film maker using footage of legit force being used by LEO- Meh, I agree with you. Mainly because there are plenty more pieces of film that could have been used showing LEO's going too far.
