Intel Platforms and 4 DIMMs

Hi. I heard that Intel platforms never had problems when the system has four DIMMs. Is this true? Or does it force higher timings?

im running 4 512 DDR 400 DIMM's at 2.5 right now

no its 2 A-Data 1GB Dual Channel Kits 2.5 CAS 184 Pin DDR

2.5 is its factory speeds, i could push it to 2.0 but i wont because im happy with 2.5
