After some doubts I was going to wait a while before posting this, well change of mind. I have decided to create a group called 360 Spin on YouTube. Dedicated to games like Descent, Forsaken, and any thing 6dof related. I figured with the growing number of Descent video posted on YouTube might as well give them its own group. This might even generate some new players for the community in the long run. If any one is interested add your video(s) at any time.

I loved it. I loved all of it and I've played it three times already.
I knew D2 existed but never saw it and it looks cool.
What a great job. Thanks for the link.

Maybe it's just the quality of the Descent 3 cinematics, but I can't help but think Descent 2 aged better than Descent 3. There's just something about the lighting and textures that holds up in its own, esoteric way.

nice idea! I especially like that you can see all the commercials and intros and endings - something that was not that easily accessible on the net until now - thanx alot!

...lol.
The Descent 2 vid with the most views actually exhibits for all to see a rather serious bug... in the last mission there SHOULD NOT be both a boss and a reactor...
P.S. Anyone feel like getting some D2 multiplayer footage on there? I could do it myself but I don't always play very often...

Eh, Playstation screws me again...

From eBay, it looks like around $20 for the PSX, probably including some games you may not want.
You can buy both the PSX Descent games for well under $10 each, apparently.

I actually have PSX Descent... think I pickup it up around a year ago. Haven't finished it yet. It would be nice to get Descent Maximum.

I’m curious on something does the Macintosh version of Descent 1 have cinematic scenes like the PS version.

This user has all 30 Descent 1 levels hosted on YouTube. Unfortunately the videos are based on how fast he got through each one.

Wow that brought back memories. How come i knew every part of that level even after i've not played it for ten years or so. Wierd.
I don't remember the boss being so visible for such a long time.
Good memories.

this guy makes an art of flying a pyro - he's trichording all the time, except when shooting at something and he knows the level by heart
I bet he could maneuver through the level blind, just orientating by the sounds
he's awesome

Well, for the PS1 version.
I used to have a memory card with a saved game right before I exited the final mine just so I could watch the ending cinematic over and over again. =)
