Headset/3D Glasses?

Post by []V[]essenjah »

Well, I'm getting back into the gaming scene as I now have cable internet. Anyway, I thought I would break in the 21st century. :) Anyway, I'm going to start playing UT2004 but I would like to get a decent headset. Any recommendations? I would love to get a headset with that is titanium if possible or at least a mic that can connect to my headset. Whatever it is, I don't want it to be fantastically bulky but I want it to have excellent sound and voice quality.

If nothing else, I might try out the bulky ones made by RazorTeam. They supposedly have a pretty nice sound card as well. I don't know a lot about it though. I kind of hate to go that direction though.

I would prefer small and classy, not geeky and huge. :)

I'm also noticed these on newegg:

I was thinking about trying these out. I've never used a set of 3D glasses. I am a bit concerned that I have vision problems at long distances. Up close I am fine though. Anyway, anyone ever try these?

i don't think Myopia effects VR, because the images are right in front of your face - it's only the illusion of distance. Don't quote me on that though.
those VR glasses are amazingly cheap, i never knew!

edit: oh, these are shutter glasses. In that case if you need your corrective-glasses to see your screen then you'll need them with this as well (maybe you can wear them under it)

*watches thread with great interest*
