In DI, Fusion Cannon can fires through locked door that hits robots inside!

In DII, Quad Lasers too. :wink:

In D1x they fixed this, apparently by placing all the gunpoints a little
more to the back of your ship, because now you can lay proxbombs
through closed/locked doors. :-)

Edit: nah, wait a sec. I think this was due to another \"bugfix\"; in the
original D1 proxbombs would explode if you fire plasma at the same
time, or something (never tried it myself).

That could be explained by gunpoints placed outside the ship's hit sphere.

Something like that, anyway. Maybe a cube... not sure, I don't know the
D1x/D2x code that well. But neither of them have \"polygon accurate
collision detection\" like D3 does (hey, another feature to add to
D2X-XL...).

Effectively. It uses a radius to figure out object-object collisions... same as D2.

And fire weapons still through there in DI & D Maximum for Playstation / Playstation 2 versions... :wink:
