PC cases?

Post by []V[]essenjah »

Just wondering about a decent PC case.

I would like a case with 2-3 120mm fans at least. Any recommendations? Basically I want it to be as cool as possible without anything loosing its integrity.

I would immediately say \"Antec P-180\" but I suspect that is out of your price range.

As a cheap alternative, there are plenty of new Lian-Li cases which utilise 2 x 120mm case fans, and they're essentially silent. The trick of course, is to fill the box with the passively cooled CPU, Graphics card and a heat-pipe cooler for the North Bridge.

Believe me, 2 x 120mm fans provides all the airflow you'll ever need.

How much do you want to spend. Definatly don't cheap out on the case. Aluminum is by far the coolest type of case you can invest in. If you spend good money on a good case now it will last and last and you can continue to build system after system into it. (I'm on system number 4 in my old Lian Li)

Brands I would recomend:

Antec
Thermaltake
Coolermaster
Lian Li ($$)
Silverstone ($$$$$$$)

I'm a big fan of the stuff that Lian Li puts out, very solid cases. I've build several systems in them.
