d2x-xl doesn't play redbook in xp?

Post by original_jynx »

In case the thread title wasn't enough - I can't seem to play the redbook music for D2 under XP using d2x-xl. Anyone know why that happens, or know of a workaround?

Thanks!

It used to only check your first optical disc drive letter for CD audio. This might still be the case, so make sure that the disc is in the disc drive with the lowest letter if you have multiple disc drives.

When using the \";-nocdrom\" switch in the d2x.ini file, the redbook music should play when the option is enabled in D2X-XL.

However.
Using D2X-XL version 1.9.23. It's not working.

I would suggest going here, sign up and make a bug report so Diedel will fix the issue.
