Apple ITunes Movies

Post by BigSlideHimself »

Has anyone downloaded any of these movies off itunes? I wonder if they have all the special features that the DVD counterparts have? Also, is the video/audio quality on par with DVDs? I ask because the downloads are about 1.5GB and I know DVDs hold 4.7/8.5

1.5gb = crap

It's iTunes, were you really expecting quality? (No sarcasm intended)

They don't have any of the DVD special features, but they also only have one audio track. That takes out a LOT of the file size.

I rip all the movies I buy, and I only keep 1 audio track (I've not yet seen an audio track clear ~500mb.), 1 video track. All of my (movie) disks are 4.5gb. iTunes is selling a download at 25% quality. What's the price on these dvd-downloads, anyway? Is it similar to the buck-a-song scam?

Didn't mention I was originally thinking of regular movie disks. 1 hour standups don't go over 2gb usually. My Bill Hicks disks are 2.1gb and 2.9gb only because I included a bunch of the extras.
