Merging two dvds

Merging two dvds
I have a 2-disk set that I want to strip out the main titles from each and put on one dvd. I have dvdshrink32. Can I go to re-author, get just the title, backup to a folder, do the same with the other disk, and then copy the files together? I thought I'd ask before wasting time trying it.
